Contractor discovery platform

Washington Contractor Network Directory

Help homeowners find the right trade, and see the record first.

The Washington Contractor Network is a statewide contractor directory built on One Trade Network. Visitors search more than twenty trades by Washington city or county, compare contractors against public records and can ask the network to help bring the right team together. Contractors have a membership path and their own place to explain their services.

The project

The problem
and the approach.

Someone planning a project starts with a place and a kind of work, and wants to know who is properly registered before asking for a quote. A directory has to organize that question across a whole state and keep a listing clearly separate from a membership.

We carried the One Trade Network place-and-trade structure into a Washington brand: search by service and city or county, contractor pages grounded in public records, a records and methodology page, and a project-planning path for visitors who would rather have help. Membership is presented separately, so a listing never implies an endorsement.

the experience.

Statewide trade and place search

Visitors choose from more than twenty trades and any Washington city or county, and land on contractors for that combination.

Public-record comparison

Contractor pages and a published methodology let visitors check and compare the public record before the first quote.

Project planning and membership

Visitors can ask for help assembling a team, and contractors have a separate membership path and business presence.
