Custom Application Development

Build around the way your business works.

Micheal Golliet and Keegan Justis build focused business applications using Claude Code as a development tool. We turn intake, quoting, scheduling and records into maintainable workflows, with people accountable for the design, code review and release.

The business opportunity

Custom Applications,
with a clear purpose.

Spreadsheets and general software can carry a business a long way. A custom application becomes useful when your process needs relationships, permissions or decisions that the current tools cannot represent without repeated workarounds.

Start with a small release your team can inspect. Micheal connects the business workflow with the implementation; Keegan contributes architecture, cloud and security experience. We plan access, privacy, testing and ongoing operation before introducing the system to real users.

The engagement

What we build
with your business.

A defined scope gives your team a clear picture of the work and what it needs to operate.

01

Workflow and acceptance criteria

Define users, business rules, data relationships and the checks that establish a useful release.

02

Access and security design

Define roles, least-privilege permissions, authentication, secret handling and integration boundaries.

03

Privacy and compliance plan

Map sensitive data, retention and provider handling; identify applicable obligations and specialist reviews with your business.

04

Tested release and operating handoff

Review code and dependencies, test permissions and core workflows, and document backups, rollback, monitoring and maintenance ownership.

From first conversation to working system

How the work moves.

  1. 01

    Choose the useful slice

Compare existing tools, agree the business need and bound the first release.

  2. 02

    Plan data and controls

Resolve roles, sensitive data, security requirements and approval responsibilities.

  3. 03

    Build and verify

Use Claude Code to assist development, with human code review and tests for the agreed workflows, access boundaries and failure cases.

  4. 04

    Approve and operate

Review acceptance evidence, approve the release and hand over support, backup and rollback procedures.

Before we begin

Useful questions.

We’ll refine the details around your business in the first conversation.

Who is responsible for AI-assisted development?

Micheal Golliet and Keegan Justis are responsible for the scoped work. Claude Code assists with implementation; it does not approve architecture, security or releases.

How do you protect business and customer data?

We agree on data classification, approved tools, provider settings, access boundaries and retention before development. Use minimized or synthetic test data where possible, keep secrets out of source and prompts, and review how production data may be accessed.

Will the application be compliant?

We scope the applicable requirements, build and test the controls, and document the evidence for your release. Qualified legal or specialist review is planned where required; your business retains responsibility for its regulatory decisions and ongoing operation.

Who owns and maintains the application?

Ownership, hosting, licensing and support are agreed before implementation. The handoff documents the responsibilities required to keep it useful.
