Academy directory

National BJJ Academy Directory

Turn structured information into useful discovery.

The National BJJ Registry project is an academy directory organized around location, program and public schedule information. Athletes can compare training options, while academy owners can claim and maintain their public profiles.

The project

The problem
and the approach.

Training information is often spread across separate websites and social posts. A directory needs to make location, program and schedule information understandable while giving owners a path to maintain what visitors see.

We connected the national directory with state, city and program pages so an athlete can move from a broad search to relevant training options. Academy schedules support the comparison, and the claim journey gives the owner responsibility for keeping the profile useful.

Working capabilities

Decisions that shape
the experience.

Location and program discovery

National, state and city pages lead into program pages for athletes looking for a particular type of class.

Public schedules

Academy schedules and program information give athletes concrete details to compare when choosing where and how to train.

Owner-maintained profiles

The claim flow gives an academy owner a path to maintain the public profile visitors use to evaluate it.
