How can I tell whether more leads are worth buying if my team is already busy?

Compare the cost of winning and delivering the next suitable job with what that job contributes, including any extra capacity it requires. Strata Modus would use that decision to narrow, reduce or pause paid acquisition when a busy team cannot take more work at an acceptable margin.

Price the next job against the capacity it needs

Average job margin can hide the cost of accepting more work during a peak. A job that fits the existing route and crew may have different economics from one requiring overtime, a subcontractor or another estimating visit. Include supervision, travel and any work displaced from the schedule when assessing that additional demand.

Keeping backup labor available also carries a cost through quieter periods. Compare that commitment with how often it could be used for the work you intend to attract. Availability promised by a subcontractor still needs confirmation; it cannot be treated as unlimited capacity.

Buy demand for a workable opening

A busy business may still have room for a particular service or location. We would review whether a focused campaign could fill that opening without generating broad demand the team must decline. If there is no suitable opening, reducing or pausing paid acquisition avoids buying an inquiry simply to turn it away.

Useful organic demand can continue while media is reduced. Where approved independent partners are suitable, customers can choose an introduction. Include any coordination or referral costs in that decision. Paying to generate requests only to pass them on needs its own commercial justification.

Define what would support spending again

Before expanding a campaign, identify the available delivery capacity, the types of work it can handle and the job-cost evidence supporting the decision. Strata can help compare those conditions with inquiry and sales records. A cheaper lead price alone does not show that the next job is worth buying.
