Should I build a custom website or use WordPress or Wix?
Choose the platform around how the business sells and operates. WordPress or Wix may be sufficient for service pages and a supported contact flow. Strata Modus would recommend custom development where a necessary workflow or acquisition network justifies the extra development and ongoing support.
Identify the requirement before choosing the platform
A brochure site with occasional edits has different needs from a network of service-area sites feeding a shared intake system. Requirements such as preserving campaign context, giving staff usable inquiry records or coordinating several domains deserve attention before a visual template is chosen.
We review what your current platform and CRM can already support. A supported form connection may solve the problem without rebuilding the site. If the requirement is a network of service-area sites, compare how each option handles shared content, accurate local differences and consistent intake. Custom development needs a support plan for those connections as well as the visible pages.
Compare the cost of keeping it useful
| Requirement | What to examine |
|---|---|
| Staff editing | Who can update service details and availability without a developer |
| System connections | Supported integrations, failed submissions and duplicate records |
| Maintenance | Hosting, updates, security responsibilities and technical support |
| Ownership and exit | Domain registration, account access, content exports and source rights |
Match ownership to the investment
Our lower packages use shared Strata-owned infrastructure. Market Ownership and Executive build a client-owned network with domains and intake infrastructure. Confirm that asset position alongside the platform choice: a familiar website editor alone does not establish ownership of the surrounding acquisition system.
