What happens during marketing onboarding, and what does my team need to provide?

Onboarding moves from a review of your existing systems to an agreed work plan, then configuration, handoff testing and launch. Strata Modus needs your service priorities and operating constraints as well as account access, so the first release supports the work your team can actually handle.

Bring the operating picture as well as the brand files

Service priorities, actual coverage, lead times and crew constraints shape the acquisition plan. Your team should explain which jobs you want more of, which requests you routinely decline and where estimating or follow-up gets stuck.

We also need access to the agreed domains, website, profiles and CRM, plus accurate service details and approved work examples. The inventory should distinguish client-owned assets from Strata infrastructure and identify missing access before production depends on it.

Use a sequence with reviewable checkpoints

StageWhat you should be able to review
Access and inventoryA system and asset inventory, access gaps and the current inquiry path
Priorities and responsibilitiesThe first delivery scope, target services, intake limits and the people approving claims, budgets and messages
Configuration and buildThe scoped pages, campaigns or intake flow ready for review, with unresolved dependencies visible
Handoff testingA complete test inquiry reaching the right record and responder, plus checks for missed calls, failed submissions and human escalation
Launch and reviewApproved changes released, live inquiry routes checked and the first operating review scheduled

Include the exceptions before launch

If partner referrals are part of the plan, confirm suitable independent providers and how customer permission will be obtained. Test who receives the introduction, who quotes and performs the work, and how follow-up checks that contact occurred.

A successful onboarding handoff leaves your staff able to respond to a real inquiry and recognize a failed route. Outstanding access, content or workflow decisions should remain explicit so the next review can resolve them.
